A Monroe native, Dr. McArdle earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison before completing her Doctor of Optometry degree at Southern College of Optometry, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Before founding Sugar River Eye Care, Dr. McArdle gained valuable experience working in private practices in Madison and Sun Prairie.

Dr. McArdle is an active member of the Wisconsin Optometric Association and was honored as the Wisconsin Young Optometrist of the Year in 2025, recognizing her dedication to patient care, leadership, and service in the field of optometry. She is also involved in the Verona community as a member of the Verona Lions Club and the Verona Chamber of Commerce.
Outside the office, she and her husband, Aaron, are enjoying this season of life with their newborn son. She also enjoys outdoor activities with their dog, cooking, camping, reading, traveling, and playing pickleball.
